Staying Safe with AI
AI tools are incredibly useful and fun — but just like with the internet, there are important safety rules to follow. Learning these rules helps you enjoy AI safely and smartly.
🛡️ Being safe with AI is just like being safe online. Use your common sense and always check with a trusted adult if you're not sure about something.
What You Should NEVER Share with AI
- 🚫 Your full name and home address
- 🚫 Your school name or where you go after school
- 🚫 Passwords or account information
- 🚫 Your phone number
- 🚫 Photos of yourself or your family
- 🚫 Private information about your family
What You CAN Do Safely
- ✅ Ask AI to explain school subjects
- ✅ Ask AI to write stories or poems with you
- ✅ Use AI to practice a language
- ✅ Ask AI fun trivia questions
- ✅ Use AI to brainstorm creative ideas

AI makes mistakes and doesn't always get things right. Always check important facts with a teacher, parent, or trusted website before using them in schoolwork!
